Article 29 (goals of education) Education must develop every child’s personality, talents and abilities to the full. It must encourage the child’s respect the environment.

After finding out about different kinds of bugs, we recognised that our garden might need some more flowers. We learned that both butterflies and bees like to be near flowers so that they can collect nectar and pollen. We are currently observing some caterpillars as they grow and turn into butterflies so we decided to get busy planting. We recalled information about planting that we had learned in the spring term and found the roots as we took some plants from their pots. We remembered to water them and will keep checking them to make sure they have plenty to drink. We are looking forward to watching to see if our butterflies are enjoying our garden as it blooms.
