Article 29 (goals of education) Education must develop every child’s personality, talents and abilities to the
full.

The children listened to the story ‘ What the Ladybird Heard’ by Julia Donaldson and had lots of fun reading and writing based upon the story. Some children made signs and maps for example and others enjoyed retelling the story using the props. One day we came into school and found that Lanky Len and Hefty Hugh were planning to steal the farmer’s treasure. All the animals had hidden it in our woods and school grounds and we needed to read and follow the clues to find out who had them all. We needed to be really good at listening, following a map, reading the clues and writing our lists. There was such a lot to do . We were very careful to make sure that Lanky Len and Hefty Hugh were not following behind us! We did have a sneaky try of some of the jewels. I don’t think the farmer will mind.
