Article 8: Children have the right to their own identity.
Today we celebrated the amazing diversity in our class, with 13 different languages spoken! The children drew flags of their home countries and proudly shared the languages they can speak.
we also explored Makaton, learning how it can support communication and promote inclusion. The children loved sharing words from their own home languages and practising Makaton signs.
What a wonderful celebration of our differences and the many ways we communicate.
