Article 31: We have the right to take part in cultural and artistic activities.
What a wonderful start to our morning: Gateshead Music Service came in for a music workshop. They taught us a range of west African songs including:
Che Che Kule
and A Keelie Makolay
as well as how to play the djembe drum. Over the course of the workshop, lots of us got to perform with the band and some of us even got to sing on the microphone. We also sang in a round and danced to the rhythms.
