Article 14: Every child has the right to think and believe what they choose and also to practise their religion, as long as they are not stopping other people from enjoying their rights.
Year 3 had an informative visit to the Hindu temple. Out of respect, we all took our shoes off before entering the temple. The children deepened their knowledge and understanding of the Hindu religion. They enjoyed finding out more about the puja tray from the priest and the importance of tolerance and peace that the Hindu religion promotes. They also enjoyed trying on the traditional clothes worn by Hindus and learning how to play traditional drums.
