Article 31: We have the right to take part in a range of cultural activities.

The Nursery children got actively involved in celebrating the Lunar New Year. Mrs Ho came to visit and showed us how Chinese people celebrate their New Year with dragon dances, music, food and festivities. The children took it in turns to try on her special dragon costume, then they made up their own unique dragon dance and paraded through the Nursery. Mrs Ho kindly brought in some freshly cooked noodles which the children found delicious. There wasn’t a single noodle left at the end of the day!

We thoroughly enjoyed our conga dragon dance.

We also enjoyed eating noodles – they were delicious!
