Year 6

Welcome to the Year 6 class page!

Welcome to 6I. Our teacher is Mr Iley and we are supported by Mrs Capel, Mrs Schultz and Miss Burns. Year 6 is a year of opportunity with responsibilities and experiences for all students throughout the year, including School Councillors, Librarians and Subject Ambassadors.

Our curriculum topics this term include a study of Louis Braille in English, through the book ‘6 Dots’, a study of the Early Islamic Civilisation in history, and Evolution and Inheritance in science.

Our PE days are Tuesdays and Fridays. Homework is given out on a Friday (one online piece and one paper piece) to be returned the following Tuesday. There is a lunchtime homework club to support the children on a Monday lunchtime.
