Hi Everyone!

Mrs Ferry and I are delighted to be with the lovely 2023-2024 Nursery children.

Those new to the school in September have settled very well and our ‘returners’ have been excellent role models to their new friends.

We have a brand-new working environment, filled with the very best early years resources.

Our outdoor area is being re-landscaped and developed with expert advice every step of the way.

The children are focused, playful, very keen to learn and explore. It has been a privilege to observe their growing confidence, independence and progress to date.

Highlights so far include ‘Forest Friday’ experiences. The children spend the majority of these sessions in the ‘Deckham Den’ where all of their usual ‘indoor learning’ is taken outside.

The children have also been developing their reading, mark-making, counting, problem solving, cooking, building, creating skills during their every day play. Wecouldn’t be prouder of them!
