Article 8- Children have their right to their own identity
Article 30- Children have the right to their own language, culture and religion.
To celebrate European Languages Day in Year 2 we decided to unite the eight languages which are spoken in our class.They are Arabic,Chinese,English, Filipino, Igbo, Kurdish, Yoruba and Tajik. We taught each other the greeting of “Hello” in our home language and designed a language self portrait poster which included the languages spoken.
