Article 28: We have the right to a good quality education.

We visited Maker Place within Gateshead Library for a virtual reality workshop; Ruth, Jennifer and Ellie from the digital team helped us today. They explained we needed to use slow head movements and the joystick to help us explore the worlds without feeling dizzy. The first world we visited was The Fall of the Roman Empire where we explored a fort and what lead to its fall. In the Anglo Saxon village set we could see lots of animals and we were able to look inside the houses to see what they were like.

We also explored other sets including A street Through Time – Early Civilisation; A Castle Under Siege; The Battle of Hastings and The Vikings.

What a great way to learn about different time periods and glimpse into the past.
